The finals will take place on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Telus Spark.
The eight innovative non-profit finalists each have just three minutes to present their best business pitch to a panel of local, celebrity judges and a crowd of 400 as they compete for more than $25,000 in grants and prizes. SVPC Fast Pitch is a free, two-month training and mentoring program for innovative non-profits that are changing the face of our city. Over the past two months, these non-profit leaders have worked with volunteer business coaches on how to succinctly and powerfully tell their story.
Since 2012, SVPC Fast Pitch has awarded non-profit organizations with over $165,000 in grants and prizes as well as thousands of hours of coaching from local, business professionals. Following their involvement with Fast Pitch, participant organizations often achieve further growth, investment, sponsorship and increased public awareness.
The Fast Pitch program would not be possible without the support of our presenting partner, Imperial; as well as generous sponsorship from the Calgary Foundation, Keyera KPMG, Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC) and the Read Family Foundation.
